At Skybox Collectibles, we take pride in the fact that we offer some of the most competitive pricing on our sports card boxes and trading card games. We determine the price of our cards based on what we pay for them, current market rates, and demand. You might find that our prices change over time, so we invite you to take a look at our website or visit our Norwalk, CT store regularly to see how much our cards are going for at any given time.
If you’re on a budget, you might not think you’ll be able to afford to buy sports cards and trading cards, but Skybox Collectibles has something that will fit almost any preferred price range! While some of our sealed boxes of cards sell for hundreds of dollars, there are also plenty of options that sell for less than $50. We welcome you to shop around at our trading card store to see what some of these options have to offer. They’re ideal for those on a budget, as well as those who are just getting into card collecting.
Yes! We do buy card singles and graded cards from our customers. We base our pricing on competitive market listings, recent sales, card condition, and demand to make things as fair as we can. We proudly offer a buy-back program that pays competitive market rates with a 50% cash payout or 60% of the value in store credit (available in-store for now).
We generally only agree to purchase cards that are valued at over $5. If you have older cards, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s, we ask that you please separate the best players/cards that you’re interested in selling before bringing them to us.
We specialize in buying cards that have been graded by PSA, CGC, BGS, CSG, SGC, DSG, HGA, and more. You may want to explore the idea of having your cards graded before asking us to purchase them to speed up the process. You should also make sure you have the right hobby supplies on hand to protect your graded cards. Keep graded cards in a cool, dry place and protected from unnecessary handling to help preserve their condition.
Yes, we do purchase sealed boxes, sports card packs, and other trading card products. Our interest in these items and the prices we are willing to pay for them will be based on their condition, market value, and current demand. Keeping sealed products unopened and in good condition can also make it easier for our team to evaluate them.
While this may change in the future, we do not currently purchase memorabilia from our customers. We do offer some memorabilia, such as autographed jerseys, to our customers, but we are not interested in purchasing it at this time.
Although we truly appreciate comic books, toys, and similar collectibles, we do not purchase them from our customers at this time.
We accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards (including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and more) as well as Apple Pay and Skybox gift cards.

Pre-order items are generally shipped within one to two business days of the product’s release date. Release dates are set by manufacturers and may change, so the estimated timing of your order can change as well.
Yes, but the entire order will be held until all items are available. If your order includes multiple pre-order products with different release dates, it will be fulfilled based on the latest release date. If you would like your in-stock products sooner, place them in a separate order.
The price you pay when placing your pre-order is locked in at that time. If the market price rises, you will not be charged more. If the price falls after you order, Skybox Collectibles does not refund the difference.
